Thursday nailday

I have been obsessed with my nails ever since I can remember. My mother let me paint them (or should I say let me let her paint them) as soon as I was old enough to ask. She used to do flowers and polka dots and basically everything I could dream of. And then the dry time. The longest twenty minutes of my life. I've always been impatient but this was beyond impatience. I knew in my heart I wanted them to look perfect and I had to wait it out but I also knew I really really wanted to put socks on right away. As a grown woman the obsession continues but the dry time has become not only tolerable but enjoyable. Maturity.
